Flat Out Amazing!!!

Morning Bloggers! This next little gem was too good not to share!! I was doing my daily grocery shopping trip(because for some reason I cannot meal plan, :( I try and try but it just doesn't workout) and stumbled upon these flatbread/wraps. They are called Flat Out Flatbread wraps and they are AMAZING(get the Light Original flavor!)!! Look at this nutritional profile-its enough to make me squeal w/ delight!

They had me at 90 calories and 9(!) grams of fiber!! Sold! So I bought some, brought them home and they are as delish as they are healthy!!! Kevin loves them too! I made us little wraps w/ hummus, chicken and some veggies and they were sooo yummy. Now I'm just nervous about my grocery store continuing to carry them (so in true product junkie form I buy a ridiculous amount of them to stock up)! Enjoy!!

My #1 Fav Baby Product

Mamas-this is it. This was what helped me stay sane during those exhausting first 2 months: the Nap Nanny. I had never heard of it before and was at The Pump Station in Westlake (the BEST baby store in So Cal w/ 3 or 4 locations) and my mom asked the sales girl what a nap nanny is and the rest is history...I choose the tan colored one and LOVE it! So what does this Nap Nanny do? Here is what the manufacturer says:
"The Nap Nanny Chill is a portable recliner designed by a mother to increase comfort and improve infant sleep. The Nap Nanny chill is also great for play time, taking a bottle, feeding twins, or watching television. With no top end weight limit, it can also be used as a perfect toddler chair. "
We used it for everything-but mainly it got my sweet baby boy to sleep like a champ! (That in combo w/ the Miracle Blanket-is the BEST discovery ever!!!). So I had planned on having Tanner sleep in a bassinet in our room for the first few weeks. But he wasn't loving the bassinet-Im not sure why-but it wasn't his favorite. We soon started having him nap in the Nap Nanny (we would just keep it in our living room bc newborns fall asleep all the time-so as soon as he would dose off-we would put him down to snooze in the Nap Nanny), and then we had the bright idea for him to sleep in it at night(on the ground right next to my bed). He was swaddled and just as snug as can be :) When 6:45am(!!) came and I realized that my sweet angel had just slept 9 hours(!!) straight, I knew we were onto something amazing!!! I think the incline is brilliant (especially if your little one has reflux). I took Tanner up to San Francisco for a week in January and we stayed in a hotel and bless his little heart-he continued to sleep through the night in his Nap Nanny and it was super easy to pack! I cant say enough great things about this product! He is in his crib at night now-but I still use his Nap Nanny as a seat for him-or I can feed him a bottle while I pump w/ him in it. There are a million uses for it! LOVE IT! A MUST HAVE!!
Here is my disclaimer: It should NOT be used in a crib. Use your good judgement here-I wouldn't leave my baby unattended in it for long periods of time-duh.

New Mom Must Have:Little White Circles of Fluff Happiness

Seriously I could fill up hundreds of blog posts about what my poor nipples have been through since November 16th. But I'll try to keep those posts to a minimum :) Today's product, Johnson's Nursing Pads, came along when I thought that I would never find relief and they are AMAZING! The best nursing pads on the market! You know I have tried them all (and so weird how ALL the others have majorly sucked), and these are top notch. They are thick and soft and very absorbant and the cherry on top is they have a nice little spot for your nipple! Brilliant! The other nursing pads are flat and just smoosh everything down :( I have never leaked through these and they aren't plastic-y like the Lasinoh or Medela ones are. Just the best. Only drawback is they don't sell these at Babies R Us. I get mine at Target. Ha-2 posts in 2 days! I'm feeling very proud of myself ;)

Whoa-I have missed my blog!!!

I really have! I have just been a busy bee w/ the bambino (who is amazing and gorgeous and perfect and ginger! Yes a Ginger :) I'll post more on that soon!), my hubby and my studio. All 3 are doing wonderfully-but all 3 take up a bunch of time. I feel like I should get back to my blogging though bc I miss my blogging friends and frankly-I miss buying a ton of products and telling Kevin that I NEED them for research for the blog. I made the mistake of asking him to pick up a bottle of my fav leave in conditioner and he was not too impressed w/ the $28 price...He needs to loosen up. Geesh. Oh well. Everyone I know is preggo and Im getting about a billion emails/texts a day asking me about my must-have baby items. So in the interest of efficiency-I thought I'd blog about them :) So I promise I will be back very soon w/ my 1st baby product post! Above is a pic of our little family after Kevin and I jogged w/ the stroller to breakfast :)

Hello Product Junkies!!!! I wont bore you w/ my apologies for being a bad blogger, I'll just pick up right where I left off! Lets talk about one of the cutest new finds of 2011! I was doing online shopping at nordstrom.com, ordering my usual 8 pots of kiehl's #1 lip balm, and I stumbled across this lip balm with such a cute name that I had to spend the $20 to check it out!! Introducing: Peter Thomas Roth 'Lips to Die For™ - Pink Bombshell' Lip Balm! It is great! Very moisturizing and a light pinky color that is too cute!! This wont replace my #1 product bbf kiehl's, but it is something I will purchase again!!

OMG I have fallen off the face of the planet!!!!

Seriously-I suck! I haven't been returning phone calls or emails, I haven't been on facebook in ages, I have no clue whats going on in any of my magazines or fav shows (except Top Chef All Stars and Housewives of Beverly Hills-those I've managed to keep up with!). I have been very busy being mama/wife/holiday hostess/business owner. It is insane! I'm typing one handed w/ a sleeping baby on me while the cleaners are cleaning up the last of the pine needles on our floor :) BUT, my sweet product-loving friends, I have also been trying TONS of new goodies and have lots of great new finds to share! So-honestly I probably wont be blogging quite as much as before, but I will make an effort to get on at least a few times a week! In cute baby news: Tanner is smiling up a storm and slept last night from 9pm-ish to 4am!!! I think I may have actually gotten into REM! I'm headed to my OB for my 6 week check up and hopefully she will green light my exercising (I started taking Dailey Method classes again this past week) and green light sexy time w/ Kevin!!! Products that I'll be blogging about soon: this AMAZING under eye illuminator, fabulously fresh smelling body butter, nipple cream that rocks my world, a new fav lip balm, and much, much more!!! Ohhhh and I'll also share my new year's resolutions w/ you(so I feel like I have to keep them!). Hope you all had a fab holiday! Happy Monday Bloggers!! I hope you all had a fab weekend! I went to the mall yesterday with my mom and we got a bunch of x-mas shopping done. Now I just need to wrap the gifts and I'll be very close to being done :) Even though it was 87 degrees yesterday-I was definitely put in the holiday spirit by shopping! There are so many things I love about this time of year and I thought this week I would share some of them with you. So first thing first is this amazing tea! It is soooooo good-like seriously yummy!! It is Celestial Seasonings Holiday Teas Candy Cane Lane Decaffeinated Green Holiday Tea and I am obsessed with it! I have been trying to get into drinking hot tea ever since I heard Cindy Crawford tell Oprah that she prefers tea lattes to espresso lattes (for those of you who don't know Cindy Crawford is my hero). But a lot of times hot tea just tastes so tea-ish. Well this stuff has a wonderful flavor: an irresistible blend of peppermint, creamy vanilla and just a touch of cinnamon and sweet blackberry leaves. AND its decaf. AND its green tea and we all know how healthy that is. So chug a lug Product Junkies, this stuff is tasty and healthy and its screams Merry Christmas :)

Do Your Pups Have Expensive Taste?

Mine do!! Bella and Romeo are picky pups and love the finer things in life (and this should not surprise anyone because look who raised these little munchkins!). They are fanatical about their Greenies. We give them one Greenie everyday when we leave the house. They expect it. As soon as I put shoes on, Romeo is waiting by the front door for his "goodbye treat". Well Greenies are expensive! Like ridiculous! And there are lots of cheap imitations-but none that ever appealed to my little snob Romeo (Bella btw will eat anything to be polite...such a lady!), until now...Nylabone Nutri Dent Original Minichews seems to pass the test! The minichews are for dogs up to 10 lbs (Bella, like her mommy, is a few lbs over weight right now, but we still give her the minichews) and both dogs seem to really like them! They are less than half the price of Greenies! Bone Appetite! Get it "Bone" instead of "Bon", yep this is the kind of humour sleep deprivation elicits :)

OK I suck as a blogger!!!

Ahhhh why is it so hard to get ANYTHING done right now? I am used to being very efficient and let me tell you, I still write out lofty to-do lists daily and get to about 2 of the tasks. It is hard bc all I want to do is spend time w/ my little love!! Good news is that Baby Tanner is gaining weight like a mad man! 2 lbs 2oz in 2 weeks! The pediatrician was shocked! And impressed (and he said "well obviously you are tired bc you must be feeding him all of the time", which is true!)! Great news about the little man getting a bit bigger is that he can sleep longer now and I can (try to) space out his feedings so I can get some stuff done!

So today I'm posting about one of the easiest ways to look better quickly...whiten your teeth!! I didn't do it while preggo and actually I didn't think I touched up these pearly whites since our wedding (Oct 08). So as part of my "extreme make over post-baby edition", I will get these teeth pearly and white again asap! I have teeth trays that the dentist made (2 sets actually), but truth be told-I prefer the good old fashion Crest White Strips. They really work! And they don't irritate my gums or cause tooth sensitivity the way my trays do. So that's my product for the day! Happy Bleaching :)

So last night Kevin and I had our 1st night out away from Tanner. It was Kevin's 32ND birthday and since my mom is staying w/ us to help w/ the baby-we thought we would have a little date night.
